On June 4, the "Hengshui University International Chinese Language Education Seminar" was successfully held. Professor Liu Lening from Columbia University in the United States, Professor Liang Xia from University of Washington, and Professor Li Kai from Oberlin College were invited to attend and give academic reports. This conference was presided over by An Xiaohong, Director of the Department of Foreign Languages, Yang Jinmei, Deputy Director, and Ma Yunyan, Director of the International Exchange Center, and Wei Guijuan, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Department of Foreign Languages, all teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages, and students majoring in Chinese International Education and English from the Department of Foreign Languages attended the conference.

   This Seminar was successful held to point out the direction for the talent cultivation and discipline construction of our Chinese language international education major, not only cultivating the students' sense of responsibility and undertaking for spreading Chinese language and culture to the world, but also creating a good academic atmosphere, which promotes the in-depth development of our international Chinese language education research.
