Dr. Zhang Li Publishes an article in SSCI Journal (Q1) Teaching and Teacher Education

  Recently, Dr. Zhang Li in Hengshui University and Dr. Hwang Yohan of Jeonju University of Korea published an article (“Should I change myself or not?” : Examining (Re) constructed language teacher identity during the COVID-19 pandemic through text-mining) in Volume 127 of the SSCI Q1 journal Teaching and Teacher Education (impact factor in 2021: 3.782). Dr. Zhang Li is the first author of the article, and Hengshui University is the first signatory unit.

  This paper uses the method of text analysis to explore the changes of college English teachers’ identity in the context of online teaching during the pandemic, revealing the three stages of identity changes, and teacher agency is affected by their teaching experience. This study provides a certain basis for the professional development of English teachers.

  Teaching and Teacher Education is an authoritative journal in the field of international education research. It was founded in 1985 and has a high impact factor in SSCI Q1 journals. The publication of Dr. Zhang Li’s paper is one of the achievements of Hengshui university in building a platform for young teachers, cultivating their scientific research ability, and encouraging their international development.
