On October 14, the 2022 Hebei University Finance Digital Intelligence Contest hosted by Hebei Provincial Department of Education and undertaken by Hengshui University - the financial big data event was successfully held in the cloud. A total of 95 teams and 380 contestants from 32 undergraduate colleges and 21 vocational colleges participated in this competition.

Wang Yongqin, the president of Hengshui University, pointed out that Hengshui University is focusing on "improving the training quality of application-oriented talents", focusing on the demand of the market, paying attention to practical teaching and training skills, and cultivating high-quality application-oriented talents with solid theoretical basis and strong professional skills.

Based on the background of digital economy development and enterprise financial digital transformation, this competition meets the needs of enterprise for financial big data application talents. It enables students to deeply experience the process of financial big data application in the business simulation business scenario, and cultivates students’ digital awareness and thinking. The competition uses big data analysis tools to find, analyze and solve enterprise financial management problems, promote communication and collaboration among team members, and help students adapt to the future job environment and requirements in advance. This competition has built a platform for colleges and universities to exchange learning experience and test students’ skills and teachers’ teaching achievements.

Two teams of financial management majors from the Department of Economics and Management participated in this competition, and they stood out and won a first prize and a second prize. The results of this competition not only show the talent training results of the school enterprise cooperation of our financial management major, enhance the collective pride of teachers and students, but also enhance the popularity and social influence of Hengshui University.
