Hengshui University Helps the Transformaion of Hengshui Laobaigan Liquor-Making Group
Postdoctoral research station of Hebei Hengshui Laobaigan Liquor-Making Group was established in June 2008, with the approval of the Ministry of human resources and social security. In July 2009, Dr. Wu Rongrong, as the first postdoctoral of Hengshui University, carried out the research on the important functional bacteria of Laobaigan liquor Daqu. Then, in 2013, Henshui University sent two doctors, Wang Min and Zhu Huixia, to carry out the fingerprint research of Hengshui Laobaigan flavor liquor and the regulation research on the main flavor substances in the fermentation process of Hengshui Laobaigan liquor.
The research results of the three postdoctors directly guided the improvement of Daqu and liquor making technology of Laobaigan flavor liquor, provided technical guidance for the mechanized production of Hengshui Laobaigan liquor, effectively promoted the quality improvement and yield improvement of Laobaigan liquor, and promoted the upgrading of traditional industrial technology.
The above achievements have been applied to liquor making to improve the quality of Daqu liquor. The improvement of liquor automatic making process has effectively saved production costs, improved the liquor yield of superior grade liquor, and made the liquor quality more stable. The direct economic benefits generated in the past five years have reached more than 36 million yuan.
