I. Introduction to Hengshui University
Established in 1923, Hengshui University (HSU) is situated in the urban region of Hengshui City, Hebei Province, renowned as the "Northern Lake City," approximately 200 kilometers away from Beijing. Presently, HSU comprises two campuses, spanning a total area of 2,479 acres. Offering 64 undergraduate majors across 9 disciplines—literature, science, engineering, education, economics, management, fine arts, law, and agriculture—the university hosts a student body of 16,462 individuals.
Emphasizing international collaboration in education, HSU has forged enduring partnerships with 28 esteemed universities and research institutions across the United States, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Thailand, and Malaysia. The university actively fosters comprehensive, interdisciplinary, and extensive cooperation and exchanges.

The HSU-UCM summer exchange program offers students the opportunity to engage in academic exchanges at HSU, fostering internationalized learning objectives, deepening their understanding of traditional Chinese culture, immersing themselves in cultural experiences, and cultivating a keen interest in Chinese culture. This initiative aims to promote exchanges and collaboration between Chinese and American students, foster mutual understanding and friendship, enhance the intercultural communication skills of participants, and lay the groundwork for future international cooperation.
III. Fees and Scholarship
A full scholarship covers international round-trip airfare and accommodation expenses (excluding visa fees and personal expenses).

a. Applicants must be full-time students currently enrolled at the University of Central Missouri (UCM) or other US universities.
b. Applicants should be in good physical and mental health, possessing strong abilities for independent living, learning, and adaptation to new environments.
c. Applicants must adhere to all laws and regulations, strictly following the specified departure and return times set by the school.
