On the evening of October 29, the second session of the Youth Doctoral Forum of the Department of Life Sciences -- Dr. Zhao Dan’s scientific research experience sharing in the international top journal Nature Plants was held online. The forum was hosted by Wang Min, vice president of the Department of Life Sciences, and Wang Yongqin, president of Hengshui University, and Zheng Yanling, deputy director of the Scientific Research Department were invited. The leadership of the College of Life Sciences, all doctors, and seven doctors from the Dryland Institute of Hebei Academy of Agricultural Sciences participated in the forum. The leading group and all the doctors of the Department of Life Sciences, and seven doctors from the Institute of Dry Farming, Hebei Academy of Agricultural Sciences participated in the forum.

Wang Yongqin pointed out that it is necessary organize more such experience sharing meetings to strengthen the scientific research atmosphere. We should take this opportunity to form a doctoral team to lay a good foundation for national and provincial natural funds, major project applications, and publication of high-quality articles.

In the experience sharing session, Dr. Zhao Dan shared in detail the publishing process, notes for writing, team research achievements, laboratory research direction, scientific research experience and other aspects, especially the team spirit of scientific research. One person can go fast on the road of scientific research, but the team will make you go farther and deeper.

The Department of Life Sciences will continue to take this as a starting point to promote the development of scientific research in a better direction.
