The award ceremony of the 6th Micro-course Contest of Foreign Languages --National Teaching Innovation Contest for College Teachers and the Seminar of Design and Application of Micro-course was held in Changsha on 9 to 10，November. The conference was sponsored by CAHE (China Association of Higher Education), organized by Higher Education Press Co. Ltd., and co-organized by the Steering Committee of Foreign Language Teaching for Higher Education of MOE (Ministry of Education). The seminar was part of the 55th China Higher Education Expo (2020). Our teachers team including Li Wei, Wang Yingying, Liu Kun, Liu Fang, Shang Huazhen and others from Department of Foreign Language Teaching won the first prize in the National Final of undergraduate English group with excellent performance, surpassing Shanghai International Studies University, Beijing International Studies University, Dalian International Studies University, Tongji University and other strong teams. Li Wei and other group members were invited to attend the award ceremony.

The 6th Micro-course Contest of Foreign Languages - National Teaching Innovation Contest for College Teachers was host by CAHE, which lasted for more than half a year from April to October 2020. After layers of the selection in Preliminary and semi-finals, 371 pieces gained access to the final qualification and 81 among them attended the final.

Through the competitions of displaying video online, presenting a teaching plan and other parts, our teachers team from Department of Foreign Language Teaching eventually won the first prize in the National Final.
