On November 25th, a delegation of Indonesian universities visited Hengshui University for academic exchange. The delegation consisted of seven members, including Prof.Nandi, the assistant to the president of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia,Dr.Erna, the chairman of the council of Esa Unggul University,Dr.Rilla, the vice president of Esa Unggul University,Dr.Indra, the director of international relations and cooperation office of Esa Unggul University, Fachrizal, the chairman of the council of Bogor Agricultural University, Mas, the assistant to the president of Bogor Agricultural University, and Li Wei, the secretary-general of the International Youth Education Research and Development Joint Organization.
Hengshui University Party Secretary Niu Zebin, Vice President Song Qingxi met the delegation and attended the educational cooperation and exchange conference between Hengshui University and Indonesian universities. Director of the University Office Li Chao, Director of the Office of Personnel Liu Xuezheng, Director of the Office of Teaching Affairs Liu Jiejing, Director of the Office of Science and Technology Research and Development Ma Huiqin, Director of the Office of Student Affairs Zhang Pengfei, andDirector of the International Cooperation and Exchange Center Ma Yunyan accompanied and participated in the exchange.
Secretary Niu Zebin presided over the meeting and delivered a warm welcome speech, introducing the history,development and international exchange of Hengshui University.Niu stated that in 2025, China and Indonesia will celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations, and hoped that this visit would serve as an opportunity to strengthen educational exchanges and cooperation between China and Indonesia. He hoped that both sides would expand and deepen their exchanges and cooperation, establish a regular exchange mechanism, leverage their respective expertise, and carry out various types of exchange and cooperation projects to cultivate high-caliber talents with international vision and innovative ability. Vice President Song Qingxi represented Hengshui University in signing a memorandum of understanding for cooperation with Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia,Esa Unggul University,Bogor Agricultural University. The signing of the cooperation memorandum can further strengthen the close ties between Chinese and Indonesian universities, jointly exploring new modes and paths of higher education and contributing to the training of more high-quality talents with international vision, innovative spirit and practical ability.
Prof.Nandi said that Universitas Pendidikan Indonesiahad a similar development history and attached great importance to developing cooperation with HengshuiUniversity, hoping to further expand cooperation in academic disciplines in the future. Other members of the Indonesian university delegation expressed their gratitude for warm reception of Hengshui University and introduced the development of their respectiveuniversities, jointly exploring cooperation in joint training programs with foreign institutions, international exchange student programs, overseas schools, study in China, joint construction of advantage majors, and Chinese Workshop.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the exhibition of Hengshui University and the Chunru Hall.
